 Terms and Conditions

• Payment must be made prior to our services to your pet. This is normally arranged upon our meeting with you and your pet and we expect the first payment to be left for collection on the first day of our services to your pet, unless otherwise arranged.

• You must notify 4 Paws Walkies of any concerns/complaints within 24 hours of any appointments

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or you will be charged in full/your prior payment will not be refunded.
• If any charges are not paid within 10 days of the invoice, 4 Paws Walkies reserves the right to charge an administration fee of 25% of each and every week the account is unpaid

• You must agree to provide keys/arrange for keys to be available for 4 Paws Walkies for the dog walking/pet visits appointment

• You must authorise 4 Paws Walkies to obtain any emergency veterinary care that may be necessary during the time spent with your dog(s)/pet(s). You understand that every effort will be made to contact you prior to obtaining emergency care. You must accept responsibility for any charges related to this emergency care and you must also authorise 4 Paws Walkies to use an alternative veterinarian if your regular veterinarian is unavailable

• Four Paws Walkies can terminate an engagement immediately if it is reasonably thought that a pet is badly behaved beyond the point of control; or, aggressive either towards humans, animals (mostly in the case of group walking, but also relates to solo walks for extreme cases) or property. You will be liable if your pet injures a third party, any property or any other animal.

• Up to date vaccination status is required. Proof is advised but not required. You will be liable if your pet is not up to date with vaccinations and is responsible for the transmission of disease to a third party or any other animal.

• Please note The Control Of Dogs Order 1992 mandates that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the name and address including post code of the owner engraved or written on it or engraved on a tag, whether the dog is chipped or not.

• It is the owners responsibility to ensure that a micro-chipping company, such as pet log, hold their correct details as in the unlikely event that your dog is lost we would be unable to collect or retrieve if the details that we hold on file are not the same as those held by the micro-chipping company.

• You must ensure that your Pet is in good health and free from fleas and is adequately wormed.

• All efforts will be made to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted 3rd party should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog's health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. The owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by us and so agrees to reimburse 4 Paws Walkies for any such fees.

• Owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage cause by the dog whilst in the care of 4 Paws Walkies. Owner is financially responsible for any loss or damage to property.
